How do I update item information?

Having signed in, click on Dashboard near the top of the page. Then, click on View/Manage Inventory in the left-hand column.

Items may be updated individually or collectively.

To update individual items:

To update individual items, click on Edit in the item's entry within the View/Manage Inventory page. If you do not see the your item there, you can search for it by entering a query in the left-hand column and clicking Search and/or changing the parameters in the left-hand column and clicking on Refine Search.

Once you have edited the different fields appropriately, click on Update near the bottom of the page. You will then see a message confirming a successful or unsuccessful update. Click on View/Manage Inventory in the left-hand column again to return to the inventory page for more editing.

To update multiple items at once:

Some fields, such as status, category, etc. can be edited for multiple items at once. From the View/Manage Inventory page, select the items you intend to edit by checking the box inside each item's entry. If you do not see the your item there, you can search for it by entering a query in the left-hand column and clicking Search and/or changing the parameters in the left-hand column and clicking on Refine Search.

Once you have selected the items that you intend to edit collectively, select the changes that you want to apply within the box labelled Edit Inventory, and click on Update Selected Items. Only the fields for which you have selected an option from the drop-down menu or entered text in the text box will be applied to the selected items. All other fields will be left unchanged.

Finally, confirm the changed by clicking OK in the pop-up box, and you will see a message confirming successful or unsuccessful update.
